Default Fibre Channel HBA's

This is a query on attaching SD30A’s to a 4500 SnapServer;

I have attached an SD30A to a 4500 with a qlogic FC HBA and it works fine so far, only problem is that the HBA does not have a full height bracket holding it in and I would just feel safer if it was properly mounted so I need to get hold of an FC HBA with a full height bracket.

Does anyone have a listing of supported HBA’s, manufacturers and model numbers that they can share with the forum?

Regards,

Matt

Yep, well I am sure that the members who own an SD30SA; next have the lids of their SnapServers, they will take a moment and record what the model numbers are for me... I am fairly patient I can wait for a response…

Looking forward to hearing what other cards will work with either…
Also if anyone has tried a HBA from HP or IBM that has been OEM’ed and worked we would love to hear what they are also...

Regards,

Matt
