Default lucite, Maze3 top, and uv light

ok, stupid question, but is lucite good for handling UV light?

i have a blacklight and i am trying to figure out if it will kill the top of a Maze3

also wondering if the light would go through the lucite and damage the O-ring

While I REALLY have no experience or knowledge of this. If I were to venture a guess, I would say that it's fine to run the maze3 with a black light. DD is very sensitive to our needs, why would they use weak materials?
I just ordered a maze3 and I'm gonna use it w/ my BL. The glow through the lucite of the coolant should be PIMP!

read that... from ridout plastics.

"Acrylic (Plexiglas, Lucite, and Acrylite) comes from natural gas and is completely inert when in solid form. American-made acrylic does NOT yellow in the sunlight. "
