Cooling dual athlons
Thinking about getting a Tyan MP with dual XP1700s.. I'm not sure how much cooling I'll be needing...
I intend on getting a Antec PLUS880, and putting in 5 x Panaflo L's. But as for the CPUs, what heatsink is the best for the 2, the Ax-7's? and how strong of a fan do oyu think I need for it then? would another 2 L's be fine, or should I get M's or something else? (obviously I mean 80mm panaflos) Last edited by BobMont; 05-21-2002 at 04:13 PM. |

Volcano 7+'s and AX-7's are the best out there, you're probably best to find out if the AX-7's will actually fit or not before you buy them

I'm pretty sure the AX-7 fits the Tyan MP, but if it doesn't, I think all you need to do is take 1 fin off the AX-7.
