The "screws" are studs, which are tapped into the base of the coldplate (as stated in above post). The coldplate is 1/4' thick (aka 6.35mm thick) - as stated in the above post ![]() Another pic to help you out (pre-finished - no lapping or coating as yet): |

I'm glad ya'll got that cleared up... My Q is: will it accept 2 * 50mm pelts, or only 2 * 40mm?

Tojja: Have you tried this with two pelts and compared it to use with only one? I'd think that the temp differential I described above would cause one pelt to do better than two unless they were low wattage pelts. I'd like to see some info on that if you have it (water block design intrigues me).
