New case ('n other) mod.
Well I redid my rig and it's coming along great! With adjustable voltage for fans I can hear vid card fan now, that's why I made my own waterblock-heatsink waterblock to test out.
http://masters.peon.net/syx66/pc/hth.htm Tell me what you think guys. I really need a ~50wat peltier to test out the waterblock and see how it does at vid card temperatures. Anyone know of an article that shows how to connect pump to the power supply, so it turns off with computer? I know pro/mini has that, but it's not very clear on what to do. Later. You should lose the antifreeze...its only for keeping water a liquid at below 0C. Just run water wetter and water plus some dye. Also, its easier to just run your fans at 2 speeds...5V and 12V...I just have a switch on the front of my computer that will switch between 5,12, and off for all case fans.

I can't run my fans at 12v, too damn loud. My room is very small I guess that's why and I have Sunon Quite 120mm fan with spacers between radiator and it. I use 4.5v and 6.0v, 6.0 in q3 and pc stays stable, a bit warm but stable.
Antifreeze helps to prevent corrosion and such just like water wetter, they do good together. And if I'll add a peltier to my resevoir eventually (inline) it'll help. |
