Default So you running Windows 2003? Got any thoughts on it?

I got a copy kicking around here, and next week I am planning to go to the kick off thingy in Milwaukee for it ( to get free shit mostly, and a RTM eval copy without having to wait for one to get mailed or have to wait for my MS CD Select shippment to make it to me in a month with the full ver)

Looking for an IT level discussion. I am currious what those of you in enterprise level jobs have seen/done/or noticed about how Server 2003 functions over Server 2000.

Also I am currious if anyone has any feedback on the whole Exchange 2003 / Server 2003 setup... I cant wait to get my hands into Ex2003.

Out of curiousity ... that free package, does it include any kind of SQL server? If so, I think I could use it and I think I know of a few places to get my hands on a copy ... devious little me. I'm just not going to download 3 CDs of stuff and burn them if it isn't going to do anything for me.

I dont believe so. I dont believe you get exchange 2k3 either.

I think this is strictly an OS deal. atleast in the eval I have now.

All I know is that ex2000 was enough of a bitch to make me never want to touch it again.

ohh cummon now... Exchange 5.5 isnt half bad.

Ex2K is a whole different beast from Ex5.5, but is cool in some ways also...

I just hate the directory intergration.
