Hardware News
I've heard alot of crap said about various hardware sites in these forums. So does anyone have any constructive advise as to where to get hardware news on the net these days?

I usually just deal with reviews from several sites I dont completely trust and then check forums when looking for new gear.

I usually trust anandtech. I can't recall ever being missled, reviews seem unbiased and informative.

It's just like trying to get regular news.
find out everything you can from as many different sources (not summaries or recraps) weed out opinions and make a choice. Personally I don't care for the " a little better than Gov work" articles at Hocp, but I still check it out and the front page. Things will spark my interests that I wouldn't have thought to look for. I then go on to other sites to find more info. Mostly It's just scrolling though.

I usually check the conglomeration sites such as amdmb and amdzone and follow the links. I require multiple reviews by various people AS WELL AS reviews from people that purchased the product (i.e. found in forums) before I can make my own opinion. Too many people are just puppets of the machine anymore ....
