How do you stack peltiers?
Obviously, its like legoes, you just put one on top of the other :P hehe
Well...do you want the weaker of the two on the cpu with the higher wattage pelt cooling the smaller pelt?...because more heat has to be removed each step? or the other way around? if i'm gonna do this watercooling thing...might as well go all out, since pelts are cheap :P hehe ------------------ 1.2Tbird @1352 air cooled. 2 stages can be done..
but only if you're interested in a higher Tdelta than 55C.. since the efficiency of TEC's are already low, you're dealing with a efficiency of a efficiency in a 2-stage setup. you'd better use 2 TEC's next to each other, doubling the potential. ------------------ OC'ing is my middlename |

Stacking for all intents and purposes is dangerous, and a waste.

Actually, pelts conduct heat rather well, as long as they aren't driving an electrical load... check out the Seabach effect (opposite of Peltier effect). It is used on deep space probes, and when is use (I think, back then) was like 3% efficient.
