Default psu??

i was digging around in my storage shed and came across a motorcycle battery charger. it has a switch for 6v or 12v. it says it is 1 amp. is there any way i can find out how many watts this bad boy is? could this be suitable for using on a pelt? can someone explain to me? thanks

watts is volt * amps.

6 or 12 watts.
