Seems the rebels are trying to outrun us with a big dumb by the code dude... well I am throwing on an extra 20 machines for tonight and all weekend that should help a lil ( get to like 400 - 450k an hour )

I could add 30 more safely of the same batch I am currently tap'n off of.

we were actually at 12th for 2 hours today then Rebels kicked it up a lot ( one dude uploading 1.7mb/hour at one point)... seems AMDMB just got a magical upload of data also, they are a cool 20 mil behind us still though.

Team Captain is back in the Action. Had some drama put a hault to all my folding *Sigh* but slowly getting it all back together. Working on a dual MP 2100+ system right now and a dual P3-750 to run with. As well as the standard random machines.

We will once again pass the rebels tonight... we are churning a lethal 560k/hour at this point solid 3rd highest of any team. my folding of 373k hour on its own is #2 of anyone in DF right now.

This weekend should distance us nicely up the ladder, if we hold this 500+k/hr we should wbe well on our way to the cows by monday.

We have already passed the Rebels Heaven team, BUT it looks like the Cows are churning away butter at a (highly) respectable +-800k/hour!!, (at the time of this posting).

yeh that teams leader seems to spike a lot with his uploads, overall our team out paces all but the top 3 with the steady flow over night of 500+k/hour

Well I finally got internet working again at home - so my home PC (barton @ 2300Mhz) is finally folding again.

On the big-fold-scale though (read: work computers) - I'm working late tonight making sure every one of our servers has the MS03-039 patch from MS installed. Once thats done though I'll see if I can't find some more CPU's to push the client out to. I'm trying to avoid using too many production servers, but I'm also starting to understand why our developers complain so much - all our dev servers suck ass.

Tonight at 5:00pm through 7:30am Monday all 120 machines will be rocking the wire I would think we will be 2/3 our way to getting to Anand by monday and able to take them next weekend ( 40mil away right now)

How many machines do you have access?
wach time you say no more machines..
but when some group does a dump...
you put on more machines.

I duno if any body else is wondering but what will happen to you if you get caught?

I'm folding on 3 machines at work... with permission
i could proboly get a few more but the risk isn't worth it for me...

Risk? None. They are on my network, all 1200 total of them. Issues only come up if it would affect productivity of our user base. Which I have taken great precautions against. Myself and my team have pretty much full control of our network. managemen tonly cares that our customers are happy. This is State Gov not a normal private company so rules are a lil different. Also since my small 8 person tech group is the best technical team in the state gov, we get lots of slack

Because I want to make sure the client is stable and the different machine times are solid I dont put more on all at once but stager it. I could add a ton more but the reality is, copy'n out that many fold dir's to machines takes too damn long and too much of my time setting up more. 20 at a time seems to be the most I will setup at any one time simply cause after that I am looking at like a half hour investment just to add more machines.

Also we dont have all P4's so I need to make sure the machines I am picking are the P4's we have... theres more work in it than I want but its a SMOOTH setup. I was going to add 30 more on for this weekend but just dont want to spend the time on it.

I'm also VERY competative... so when some team does a dump, I take the time to add more machines hell I would push this thing to 1000k/hr if it turned out to be needed. in theory with every machine we have doing some rough calc I could get to 2 or 2.5M/hr And this is with this slow protien

Only one more day or so at the present output and we will be stepping on the heels of the Dutch Cows.

BTW, one more thing we seem to be very good at also, is recruiting new members. Since that big recruiting add was posted at the main page we've been getting new members almost every week.

Actually I am going to stay there for a few days, and then come back to procooling and launch us over the power cows and into the top 10.

Well, team AnanTech will be history in a few hours, and so will be the rest sooner or later up to the first five places.

Now, the million dolar question is: In the long run, will we beat Overclockers Australia for fourth place?; do bears cop in the woods? hehe.

So JD remember when you said that you would leave AMDMB if we catch them before the end of this protein? seems as if we are going to walk into the top 10 well before the end

hehe

LOL, no kidding. You been tearing it up. Not to mention the rest of the team has stepped up nicely aswell.

I have been offline on all comps for a few days. I might have one or two back to D.F. sometime. But the rest of the comps are going to other uses for now. Once I get through re-arranging stuff I will get a couple fired back up at least part time.
