This isn't Folding@Home where you need a team number it is Distributed Folding. Two different projects. No team number is used by the client.

Oh ok I fixed it and I have the screen saver and the dos program. If you have the screen saver running and the dos program...does that double the folding?

Not unless you have two CPU's. Run the text client only. You will get much more work done running one client then trying to run both at the same time. Text client is a little faster than the sceen saver and runs all the time.

Ok I am using 150MB of ram because I have a gig lol. I am running the text client also and I will be a 24/7 folder for you guys as long as it doesn't lag me in games like ut2k3 and such big games like that. I don't think it will with a gig of ram...now if I had 512 then it would be close.

I have been folding for quite a few hours and it still shows me as 0 on the stats page for ProCooling. What's going on?

The first gen takes 2-3hrs, after that they take about 5minutes each. Be patient and make sure you set it to connect to internet.

Well I am off for the weekend.

at 2.2ghz its taken me about 45ish hours to do the first set but there were one or 2 generations that took a long time. unfortunately my other comps are only 1 ghz athlons so its taking a while (about 17 hours to do 61 gens)

BTW we are at #11 now. and its going to be a slower trek to #10 since we only put out 3 mil a day more than the cows (only is all relative compared to teh 8mil a day we did more than Anand )

Nope, one takes up all teh CPU you got. just runs at low priority.

and you can run as many instances under your one name as you want. you wouldnt need to make more users under DF

Actually, it looks like I'm getting a bit more out of my hyperthreaded P4 running one text based and one screensaver. I just started using the screensaver last night. Hard to be certain though since the output is kind of lumpy anyway, and I'm just looking at the Arachnid graphs to determine the difference.

Hmm, my router seems to be blocking my uploads somehow. I upgraded my router from smoothwall 1.0 to the beta5 2.0 version yesterday... Anybody know what the problem could be? Everything else works fine; (surfing the net, IM, etc. all works). So I now have 8 machines waiting to upload...

Tonight we should hit the top 10, knocking the cows ass back down for the first time in close to a month. And the first time procooling has broke into the top 10 so far.

Wow!!... way to go; only some 25K points more to be in 10th place.

47 teamates crunching, up from 45 few days ago!! At this rate of recruiting new members (including some resurrections), by December 2003 we could very well have a chance to the No. 1 spot.

No kidding!! It also coincided with the "monster dump" the Cows make every week. Now they've regained some 6mill ahead of us again. A minor setback, that's all

Anyho, sooner rather than later we will overtake them, since their weekly output is pale in comparison to ours.

try googling a translation. It will at least be enough to tell whether they worship your power or are hiring a hitman

Edit: nevermind, neither google nor babblefish can handle it.
