I bid on one of those on ebay about a year ago. It sold for a mere 400 bucks over my max bid.

lol! no, but your progress is closer to what I can achieve.

Like I posted some time back, I don't see the purpose of such a device, within a common typical usage, so I seriously doubted that such a device would be commonly available.

Hard to find, but not impossible.

I for one would use google before eBay to find out the manufacturers of specific types of equipment
that they are on eBay routinely merely indicates that they are somewhat common

using one of those requires a DAQ system as the variation is continous - what is the 'real' value ?

A slight note of progress.

I picked up a couple of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3850175613

...just for the purpose of getting familiar with a setup (any setup !).

Otherwise the eBay search continues.

Kinda ironic that we'd pick similar modules...

This is also for your testing?

Thanks for the tip: the search continues.

Here's a well placed kick...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V

According to the product description, the 5B series is the same as used by Azonix..... (true?!?)

Score another one...

I got three of them this time. Still can't believe they went for so little. Now to narrow down the details...

Kewl idea. Bill and I e-mail each other on these. What's the most efficient way to reach you?

Does anyone know if a GPIO interface, such as this one:
http://www.tamsinc.com/gpio/61622/61622.htm
can be used as a GPIB interface? I've been over the manual, and I'm a little stomped. I know that the connector doesn't match, but I suspect that it's a matter of having extra lines. I'm just not sure wether or not one can work around them.

FYI, I'm bidding 30 on item 7507502647. (It'll probably hit 50 or 60 though).
