why bother? to get an unmeasurable improvement for a ton of work (would need to restructure entire front frame)? not gonna happen on this box

Yeah that would be a pain, but the dual shroud thing wouldn't be so bad, and it looks like you have room. I wonder how performance would suffer compared to running the 160 in free air.

early results are very good, will post pics in a few days

4400x2 w/o IHS, Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLI, Mushkin Redline RAM, BFG 7800 GTX, Hitachi SATAII in Raid 0, P180 case
cooled by G5/D5/PA160.1

Brucoman,

So how is this install going? I received my P180 this week. Hope to start building it out this weekend. After inspecting the case I think I'll install the PA160 same as you. Nice and simple.

install went well, having issues with A8N-SLI/4400x2/Mushkin RAM, but not the cases fault!
it is VERY quiet as well which was a major goal too

My P180 case - not much room to work around. The bottom uses a hi output panaflo 86cfm to cool a 4 disk 3ware raid cluster.
