I dont think I have said "I'll sue you" to anyone ever. theres plenty of other fun ways to work out problems avoiding the legal system

the thread was started where the offensive comment was made, and simultaneously here as I suspected the .... running the other site would not accept controversy
and such came to pass

wrt this site, you might consider just what 'Freedom of Speech' does mean in the internet age
the other site censored me and deleted my posts, while leaving the initial post and even voicing support while also refusing to even allow my post requesting substantiation
if you are into ugly, that (procooling) thread is going to become infamous

for all the faults of the sorry members (such as myself), what other forum (in English) is discussing "procooling" issues ?

Forum members being oppresive? I think not. They are just their own brand of high end. The reason people stay away from procooling is simple, most people just dont understand what the people are talking about or why they get so worked up about it. The mainstream kid who is into cooling is all about hearing what "rad" thing they can to do make their computer more annoying or more lit up with new lights and shit. Most dont care about the thermal resistance of materials or turbulent flow inside their block or thermo dynamics. This forum isnt for the weak of heart, but also many people here dont take themselves as seriously as some outsiders may think. Hell I think pH and I are here just for comic relief

The people who have a good grasp on the technology normally do good here, and understand where many of the folks are coming from. Also you need a thick skin here, you need to understand criticism is something that if taken for what it is... can help you get better at what you may be trying to achieve.

That example is stupid and doesnt prove your point at all. Its just a public bitch session by some heavy hitters in the industry. But it is a thread thats worthy of the hall of fame!

hell, i just see it as intelligent, articulate people who cant be arsed with letting little johnny txt speak (\/\/ings, anyone?) run amuck making statements that are full of shit, who want to talk about cooling issues relatively indepth (hell, im sure 99% of the people here are in it for the science - how many people REALLY care how much their pc is overclocked? I really dont give a damn any more, i just enjoy the discussions)

Being nice to people is one thing, going out of your way to tell someone they're a ****ing idiot in the nicest possible way is just plain annoying, and is energy best spent elsewhere - say, ocforums and the like. If you cant take a hit, dont say anything stupid - its a great thing, really - gets rid of the people who are easily offended quickly

Generally the easily offended by being proved wrong have a much harder time looking past pre-conceptions, too....

Welcome to ProCooling, where we actually like what we are. If you dont you know you dont need to come here.

1 things for certain. We are not going to change. So either strap in and learn some stuff from some of the best minds in computer cooling, or go and deal with friendlier and stupider folks elsewhere.

But since you do keep coming back, you must find something you like here. But if you are going to make posts like you did a week ago, you should atlest back it up... I mean we did reply back.
