Re: Alphacool 1/2" NVXP-3 ATI Waterblock?
Swiftech products are overated.
I know some peeps on these boards work there... but after owning quite a few of there models... I've always felt dissapointed. I have the MCW50 both first and second revision and I also have the MCW50-T (thermo electric), I have the MCW5002-T P4 socket 478 (x2) and the MCW5002-T K8. None of them have performed as advertised. That's why I wanted to try something different. Something hand made, something from outside North America.

Re: Alphacool 1/2" NVXP-3 ATI Waterblock?
I rather liked the MCW600x series and have been very pleased with them.
Not stealler performers but were more than sufficient for my needs. (Within about 10 C at full load, could do better but would need another rad and better testing...) Very solid construction and was wasn't too expensive. Too bad they did away with them. Then again what do I know.

Re: Alphacool 1/2" NVXP-3 ATI Waterblock?
Yeah it works like a charm. VPU does 36C Idle and 45C Load. That's after playing Battlefield 2 for an hour. True it's not in a "normal" watercooled rig (Pelt Cooled CPU) but still this block REALLY performs. Downside is that if I upgrade video cards this blocks gotta go.. Upside is that it outperforms any DangerDen or Swiftech GPU block on the market. And the flow rate?? Lol.. let's just say flowrate is not an issue... Second Rad is al old Black Ice Pro

well you got two pumps so I guess it isn't an issue.

With two pumps, a modern video card and a peltier cooled CPU, I hope the tubing disappearing into the top of the case is off to another radiator....

Top of the case is the reservoir. It also is used as a fill hole..
