Here's another idea: What about electroplating the WB channels so more heat may be dissipated from the block to the water?

Why not CVD diamond instead? Good synthetic diamond approaches 2000 W/mK, almost 5 times better then copper. Furthermore it can be plated onto most metals (diamond dremel bits for example) fairly cheaply.
I forget the specifics, but some people on ArsTechnica looked into diamond plating heatsinks and determined that it could be done fairly reasonably, but they only looked into aircooling and quickly decided it wouldn't help enough. Water might actually make it worthwhile. |

i think the only way to find out if this would help is to try it. i was thinking that you could plate the inside of the wb, to stop corrosion. gold is an excelent non crroder. i do believe that stores like hobby lobby and micheals carry cold leaf. otherwize, i have 2 uncles who are jewlerers
