haha fair enough. It's good to have Les around to check mine because I am firmly "semi quantitative" at work.

Any chance I can get raw numbers for your MC5002 tests? Would allow me to plot variance from mine with a bit more precision...

Recirculating laboratory chiller secured today; waiting on shipping from Ebay seller. This is the instrument:

Hopefully it will work well enough for testing (if not then I'll use it for main gaming rig)

Some items of note:

1) I am holding off on wb testing til late next week when the lab chiller arrives. I'll replumb in the meantime though.
2) In the next 5 days I will test the Thermalright 947U heatsink that KnightElite generously let me borrow.
3) A LR Cascade arrived from .au today
4) I bought an ATI 9700 last night so I'll be getting in trouble for long gaming sessions instead of long testing sessions some nights.

ALMOST done with thermalright 947U review:

http://www.procooling.com/users/phae...malrightcw.jpg

Note how much better reproducibility is when using 4 mounting holes. I have one more day of testing and then I should be able to write this review up. Obviously it's quite a good performer.

KE offered me another heatsink (//edit: Vantec aeroflow) to test while I wait for my lab chiller. Not sure if I'll take him up on that or finish testing the swiftech complete wc kit out though...

Gave pH two more fans today, 47CFM 92mm Papst, and 48CFM 92mm Panaflo. Seems they are better than the stealth, but get pwned by the beefy fans.

KE: I'll bring the Thermalright over after work sometime tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to pull it out of the test system and don't feel like messing with it at the moment. I think I'll test the Alpha PAL8045 instead of the Aeroflow next; though I am a bit concerned about how to properly test the Alpha. Pulling air through the heatsink makes it almost imposssible to get intake air temps, but blowing onto heatsink supposedly worsens performance.

Results for the interested:

review should be posted Wednesday or Thursday.
