folding is 1 good way to heat up those cpu....... so a good way to test those watercooling setups

Yes, I've noticed it keeps my temps up just like Prime95 did previously.
Still got some testing to do before I move my watercooling setup over from my Duron (I'm worried about water penetration, as I'm going direct die, and I noticed multiplier selection on the Duron went wonky on me the other day...)

hmm I still have a couple of machines offline at the moment... give me a few weeks until they are assembled and in the rack and I'll add some 24/24 power, they are a bit old, but 3-4 boxes should more should help.

Login there with your handle and the password you chose, and you will be taken to your personal stats page.
At the top of the personal stats page is your profile. Here you can change your username and Organization, and most importantly, select ProCooling from the "Current Team" drop-down list".
Then click the "save changes" button.

If you don't do this, your work will not count towards the ProCooling team. Simply entering ProCooling as your Organization will not do the trick.

Unknown really. There isn't any consistancy with this new client. Yestersday I pulled off over 100,000 and today it looks like more around 50,000 the way it's going now. Just depends on what the client needs to finish each step.

Here is the FAQ about the new client: http://www.distributedfolding.org/phaseiifaq.html

Well, I got my new system at home up and running (XP2500+ not yet OCd), my work workstation up and running (P3-866 - upgrading in a few weeks to P4 2.4C), and while I wait for it to be put into production I dropped it on a new HP ProLiant DL360 I just setup (Dual 3.06). My daily scores tend to fluctuate a lot (as I setup systems at work and move the client onto/off of them before they go into production), but I do what I can.

Do you guys think this will run faster in Linux? I'm currently using Win XP Pro. I have Gentoo Linux dual-booted on this system, and was wondering if I should boot into Linux and do it that way?

From what I hear Windows is faster, but that was the original client.

OK,

I tried some months ago to set this up, didn't ever figure it out.

I have it downloading onto a desktop file right now. I see they have change things, so I'm going to try this again.

Last time everyone said my system was fast enough to handle it no problem. Will this still work?

XP1600 stock
256mg PC2100
20gig hard drive

yep, same cheap system as before.

Also I recall in the old folding program it wasn't enough to indicate Procooling as my org. to have it give credit to the PC team.

How do I need to proceed with this version to do that?

Go HERE and sign in using your handle and password from the last time. Once signed in you can change teams and what not from the drop down menus.

Or you can re-signup and select ProCooling from the drop down menu when signing up.

Jaydee116,

Thanks for the help! It's all done and straight, PC now has 62 members.

Went pretty smooth this time, don't know what I did wrong last time.
