Dual Opteron Board w/ AGP that DOESN'T SUCK??? - Page 3

I have an Athlon64 chip and board on its way in ... I managed to get $600 in hardware for $100 and $150 in hardware trade, so I'm going to give that a shot for now (to whet my craving for 64 bit linux, lol). I'll let you know how that goes ....

Even though this is just a baby hammer, I'm quite impressed. Even at around 350-400 Mhz slower than my barton it still runs noticably faster ... and the response in applications has more of that buttery goodness that I grew to enjoy from the bartons. That extra cache is something else ....
