Ddoes anyone know if the mounting holes for nf4 chipsets is the same as that of nf2?
Same question for gfx, is the x850XTPE mounting the same as all other ati cards (9700 for example)?

nf4 - yes, but mouting can be difficult as the chip is close to the back of the upper peg slot.

Mine isn't, it's 2 in the same places as the NF4 holes, I can tell you this with some certainy as it's right next to me.
Actually looking closer the NF4 holes are slightly offset from the NF2.

Nf2 is definatly 2 holes.. for my nb #rotor style block, 2 of the 80 something holes are for mounting
Maybe he meant Nf3?... Havinglooked at some pics of the NF4 DFI board, it looks like I will need to turn my block around, as it is rectangular and is longer in the directiontowards the PEG slot.. will be a pita though.. but gives me a reson to desolder itandmodify it for higher flow (which my loop NEEDS)..

American Units
I don't know about you guys, but I like doing things the American way. For the A64 (socket-939), the distance between the center of the two mounting holes is 3.500", exactly. I am a little unsure of the height clearance, but I think .600" is a safe bet. As for length and width, I'd say 2.400" and 2.550" are a safe limit. Sorry if this is a repost, as I know people have posted the .pdf files, but I figured this puts everything at your fingertips.
EDIT: I forgot to add that for screws, 1/8" should be fine, with the total height of the mounting bracket at around .700". |

Re: Mounting hole distances for CPUs
Does anyone have the 7800GT details? I need RAM / GPU centre locations and mounting holes. Any drawings / specs would be most welcome!
