I used to use 1/16" edges... but the last block uses 1/32" edges on the top part but also seals on the side all the way around 1/16" deep. But it occured to me afterwards that it wouldn't be hard to change the design, I've been trying to make a cascade type centre piece and then drill a grid array of small holes partially into the centre of the base plate. It's proving trickier than anticipated though.

I suppose it does mean your losing some performance there, but with some designs, (eg. the cascade mentioned above) I wouldn't of thought it would have that much of a detrimental effect.

My soldering still needs work but it doesn't leak.

Performance? I will let pH handle that. It will get sent to him sooner or later. Not expecting great numbers though.

You wasted $0.004 worth of excess solder there. Mass production finds the minimum, but you can afford heavy joints. BTW Liquid Paper correction fluid is a good flux/solder resist.

Will give that Liquid paper stuff a shot. Got some around here somewhere.

watercoolerking: Look at the internals of the Swiftech6000 block for a way to improve that last block of your (need to route the water through the pins farthest from the outlet). Looks good though.
