Who's your Boss Farley? I know who most of the guys up there. In the Super Lates anyway. Or do you mean the Winston Mid-west series? lot of Winston sanctioned tracks between MI and WI.

I liked the Fabtech stuff 'cause it looks a lot like the Finish Line Fabricating parts on my car. Looks well engineered, watched a special on Fabtech during an off-road race one night.

Dats cool. Speciale, #50 I think it must be the Winston Mid-west series, his car is a Monte Carlo not a super late. They race 4 times a year...

I just bought a truck myself. Well not so much of a truck really, more like a hot rod with a truck bed. I just got a '99 F150 Lightning about a month ago. It had 49k miles when I bought it, but it has 52k on it now. Man is this thing fun.

Thanks dude. The PPE (as it's known) is my pride and joy. Despite being road legal it's pretty much a pure race car now. There is info about it here and also the short-lived Snotmobile (the other Westie we had). They are definately the most fun you can have in a car with your clothes on and I think anyone with petrol in their veins should own one at least once. There really is nothing like it and normal cars will never seem the same.

Also on the site there is some old info about the computers. The site is due for an update with all the stuff I've been doing watercooling wise on the PC and Mac and some progress with the PPE also. Hopefully I'll get around to this in the next week or so.

My collection

Daily driver: Mk1 Escort (1300cc) (currently woring on upgrading suspension/engine and interior stuff)

Project : Mini 1000 (been working on this car since i was 13. Junked the original body shell and found a doner for a new one. The Spec list is very long )

Racer: Radical 1100 clubsport (my dad raced this for a couple of years but we cant afford to stump up £6000+ a year atm so its sitting in the garage)

Kart: Wright Suzuka (1999)/TKM BT82 (i used to race this in the british campionships and club meetings but quit when i was 16 in the hope of finding a proper car to race but still looking )

I have a few more escorts and minis but they are all crappy atm.

Nice selection. Have to admit that when I get to the stage that it's the Westie holding me up on track rather than the driver, I'll be looking into something like an old Prosport with the full aero package. Would love an SR4 but the money is just daft. I have more than a passing need for a Mexico as well...

Just read your Liquified link also. *bows* very impressive work!

Slater_Speed, is it just a rumor, or can the Radical be legally driven on public roads? As an every day car?
Pleeeeease, tell me it´s true. If it´s OK in any country in EU, it´s OK all over EU. (wiping saliva from chin)
Juansolo, I envy You for Your 7 soooo badly. Pity www.caterham.co.uk has removed all sound files (their web servers couldn´t handle the load).
regards
Mikael S.

Edit: sorry, fixed that link

Thanks juansolo

msv - Well yes 'some' radicals are road legal. The newest models (SR4 etc.) have a 'road legal' option avalible and the older models can be converted by fitting the optional lights and road tires.

Thing is they are totaly impractical for road use as the ride high is soo low (we cant even get our car back in the garage without ramps as the floor is about 1.5inches higher than the driveway!) The road legal cars have the ride hight jacked up to the max which totaly ruins the look and handeling of the thing.

But yeh its quite fun at traffic lights just dont try and go over a bump!

Ps. droooling @ Rotor

I'd still rather have a DAX with a turbo busa engine or the pretty rover v8, but that is just me

I bought a 99 Dakota 5.9L R/T reg cab (Black of course, its the fastest color LOL) back in may. I purchased it entirely on my own, along with gas and insurance, and I am only 17. All the spoiled kids around me make me sick, most dont even pay for their own gas LOL. check out www.cardomain.com/id/99blackrtrc for more pics of my pride and joy.

#rotor, I guess that's the cause of your name...

my '84 Mazda RX-7 GS

After a really bad paintjob (literal bugs everywhere and horrible orange peeling up and down the sides)

Planned Mods are:
13bt swap
Some old turbo my dad has in the garage that's about the size of my head
Megasquirt
4 wheel disk
Better rated injectors
Some fuel pump
Some rising rate fuel reg.

What was sapposed to be a parts car, and is now just my dads 3rd or 4th beater

Will probably be the test rig for the turbo (turbo 12a blowthrough)
if it stays na I'll probably convince my dad to convert it to EFI using Megasquirt and convert the intake to individual throttle bodies

It is from being a Rotor-head yes was fortunate enough to have been introduced to the rotary engine very early in life, never since had the itch to own anything with 4 wheels that is not rotary propelled...

Talk about a sleeper! I bet you can't wait to get that turbo so you can see the look on the guys face driving the Mustang after you smoke him in your Saturn I was watching a show on TV last night about the '05 Mustang and the new base model with 4.6L is only going to have 210 horsepower Damn... my 97 Intrepid Sport has more than that and it's a family sedan, not a renouned performance car. Unless its a GT or a Mach 1... im not scared
