Ok, I can see that the database is not accessible.
Ya'll give me a couple of days, and I'll make an Excel file available. I'll try to put up the MS Access file as well. |

beat ya to it. Attached is a zip with two excel spreadsheets; one's a dimensions sheet, the other's a car model sheet. I'm not sure who created them, but I can claim credit for neither.

So is there any way to get it back up? Do you need more hosting, or something along those lines?

If someone can take that info and turn it into a website ready format I can host it. Not much I can do with an XLS file though....

Since it came up, here's a source for heatercores:
http://www.partsamerica.com/ Also, in my area (Texas), there's: Napa: http://www.napaonline.com O'Reilley: http://www.oreillyauto.com Autozone: http://www.autozone.com and more I'm sure. |

Anyone have this database of heater cores?
The link is no longer any good. It would be ashamed for it to be lost forever. If you have the zip file let me know and perhaps you can email it to me and I'll post the zip file on a web page for everyone. Thanks! |

Re: Online Database for Heatercores: Ben
Anyway to get that database now?
One thing is a excel document containing all the specifications, another one is to have pictures of the cores. That gives a lot better impression whether it's the heatercore you seek or not. So mirror! |

Re: Online Database for Heatercores: Ben
I've got the excell files with the heatercore dims, and one with the car model reference plus the acces file for searching the data.
I have found that I needed to modify the database (access) file to get it working, however it might be due to our system with different signs for decimal places and other differences in numbering. Only the original access file is included. No pictures though. |

The "Heater Core Cross Reference" is down, any alternatives?
This is the link I have: http://www.autopart.com/radiatorinfo/heatercoretech.htm
I found this site in a pretty old thread and was wondering if anyone had a working alternative to it? I have the list of heatercore sizes (http://www3.telus.net/MadHacker/HeaterCores.htm) and I'd like to get the GDI part numbers from the Fedco ones. |

Re: The "Heater Core Cross Reference" is down, any alternatives?
I've got the spreadsheets, plus a fairly complete set of images of stant, fedco and transpro(GDI) cores pulled from online auto parts catalogs (wrote some scripts to automate the process - which I think I posted in this forum, but the online parts catalogs hae changed their setup and images are now less "pull-able").
Anyone want to host em? Mrastudent - your profile says you don't want email... |
