I'm getting geared up to do some system tests myself at the moment. Boy howdy!

I think Ben ment system testing as in using the Computer (System) to test as opposed to a test bench with a heat die?
Yes, thank you.

Things have been quiet around the web water-cooling-wise for quite a while now (~6 months).

No new blocks
1 new radiator
A couple of updated pumps (D5/Mag)

That's about it.

The computer industry in general seems to have stalled somewhat. From hardware to software.

I think people are actually getting board of computers aswell.

I think watercooling will pick up some when the dual core chips come out.

Or maybe not. The cool thing about watercooling was that it was kinda like an extreme geek type thing. Now its not so novel, and lots of people are doing it. I think it's just not as cool as it was.

or maybe I'm wrong, i duno.

I don't see why duel cores will do anything for it. They are pretty much the same size as a single and pretty much the same watt output. maybe a little higher, especially overclocked but even the mid line air coolers will have no problem cooling them.

Overclocking used to be for enthusiasts, now you can just buy a mobo that overclocks for you..... There is still the 3Dmark crowd but seriously, why would any saine person spend so much to get a high meaningless 3Dmark score...

My goal is to get some new site love going on here for PC by July. A complete re-write on how the site works currently. Essentially starting over, and moving the old content to an archive area, making all the new content dynamic, and more functional.

You should know by now putting dates on your goals is futile.

Ya know... You can use a magnum 350 aquarium pump for this stuff. I was laughed at (or as I took it) for the thought of it... Hmmm, my pump has 8.5 feet of head, (wished I could say that for myself, LOL) and pushes water like ya wouldn't believe! I'll damn sure stick with it cause I know it works...

No damned primadonna here!

As I don't participate much here yet, mostly due to IRL stuff and party'ing too much with zee ladiez, I see this site as a very good info for my watercooling adventures, and I like the fact that You guys DO have the knowledge to give information with regards to proper physics laws and start flaming reviews based on that knowledge... Keep those bonfires lit boys..
