That last one is pretty nice, nice hardware selection. Question: does water filter out? Your block doesn't seem to have a rubber-band like most do, that is, most copper+acrylic blocks.

I guess you are talking about a rubber seal.
I don't have the tools to make a channel for the seal so i used a silicone betwen the acrylic and the cooper. seems to hold prety good for a year now. |

Forgot to post images in here. This is my "Nazca" block design which was made through a tortuous amount of work on a manual knee mill.
And this block was an experiment to see if I could make a modern waterblock for under $10 and under 5 hours of work. The channels were cut with a bandsaw. |

Pierre your stuff simply blows me away, do you machine professionally? Any chance I can get some of your cad/solidworks designs? I want to make a block and like what you've done there.
-Question: when people are putting acrylic tops on their blocks, how are they getting them air-tight? Is there some sort of rubber lining going around the copper or acrylic that I don't see? |

Ben is right on. I've also seem some people use gasket material that you can get at an auto parts store.

Re: Post pictures of your homebuilt blocks here!
Cool thanks. Any reason to use on sealing method over another? I'll likely use goop/rubber, not gasket if they'll be equally reliable.
