Default what kind of laquer to seal pcb?

what type can you use? will home depot stuff work?
where can i get some?

I don't know for sure which ones will work. I do know that there are PCB specific lacquers that you can buy at electronics stores, but whether they are the same as normal lacquer....? I doubt they are the same though.

Guys...Use clear nail poilsh that you can get at your local walgreens. I like the quick dry stuff myself. Just paint it up all around the socket area of the mobo or the gpu area of the graphics card you are freezing. Works like a charm...Just did up DFI nf4 sli board tonight..see it around the socket?


You also want to do the area behind the socket as well, becasue condensation WILL form on the udnerside of the mobo behind the socket even with insulation:


I always use some dielectric grease in the socket pin holes and card slots too. I have had motherboards last me 20+ ln2 sessions and still going, doing this preperation work.
