Motherboard Manufacturer feedback / poll
Because of the ' What happened to Asus?? ' thread I thought it would be neat to see who people think is the best and who is the worst. Please vote and post some feedback. BTW: any other moderators feel free to move this is I put it in the wrong spot. If I missed the company you wanted to vote for, please let me know before you vote so I can add it in. Please only select the one(s) that you have had the best experience with.
I voted Asus and A Open because I have honestly not had problems with them and have own a few A Open boards and several Asus boards.

Re: Motherboard Manufacturer feedback / poll
I had to go with Abit mostly because I never had a bad one and they were one of the first with 3 phase power. Had several over the years and they all still work.
I have owned at least one of the following and multiples of some of them: Abit Asus ECS PCChips MSI ASRock A-Open Shuttle Bio Star Epox Gigabyte The only one that I remember ran poorly in stock form was the Asus A8V. |

Re: Motherboard Manufacturer feedback / poll
Ah I also will list mine:
Abit: one that I can remember (the one I currently use) Asus: 5 or more I think VIA: One or more MSI: One or more Intel: Probably 5 or more range A-Open: Several ... 5 or more ish I think Boards in compaq computers: 6 or more Boards in packard bell systems: 3 or more Boards is HP comps: 3 or more Boards in IBM rigs: two or more Boards in gateway comps: 5 - 10 or more Unknown boards (just don't remember) 10 - 30 And a lot of this stuff I got used (90% lol) and most was before I ever went to online forums so its kind of how I thought myself to use the computer was by grabbing every free system I could and experimenting. Paid off I guess lol

Re: Motherboard Manufacturer feedback / poll
Gigabyte P35 boards are rock solid, I used to be an ASUS man but recently specc'ed a new machine for a family member. I havent been let down by that Gigabyte board yet. Add to that fact that I currently run a Asus p4p800 SE mobo myself, and found that quite unstable.
