Default Thank You SpinRite!

If you have read my previous post, you know that my 1100 failed with a "no disk" error. I was able to acces its OS, but couldn't see the data disk. DD failed with errors when trying to copy the boot image in preparation for a new HD. As a last resort, based on blue68f100's recommendation, I tried SpinRite. After one run on the first 100 MB of the drive, it corrected an "ECF" ? (I didn't pay much attention) error. Upon reinstalling the drive into the SNAP, low and behold, it works! AND...the data is still there! I really didn't need the data, as I am going to be wiping the SNAP in preparation for another network, but I am amazed at how well that SpinRite worked. Outstanding!

Thanks again to all that helped with my issue, especially blue68f100!

Regards,

Gary
