SNAPSERVER 4100 Series and Win2k
I have been experiencing a very odd issue. I have worked with Quantums outsourced NCR customer support on this issue for 6 weeks now. Here is what is occuring;
Users will start a workstation and be able to work for X amount of time. After a period of time the drive mappings will fail. We have used the following to add the DC's into the HOST file on each of the snap server from the debug command line hosts [domain-name] machine [PDC/BDC name] hosts [domain-name] ip [PDC/BDC ip address] We thought this issue was resolved, but users are now stating the issue of lossing access to a drive has failed. The message each user gets is the disk is full or the file/folder has been deleted or moved. To resolve this issue we reboot and everything will be fine for a period of time or until the user logs off. The next user tried to log on and they cannot gain access to the drive. |
