Holy COW!
You should sell that sweet setup now and buy a new car. Thats a drooler for sure. Its not a single component looker... its a total investment of time and detail that impresses me. You must have sat out the entire sophmore year of school to assemble that one. edit: Thats definitely my next case for sure... edit: wow

Thanks winewood,
Already got a car though, and haven't been a sophmore for alot of years. The entire project took about 2 months. The first month I spent planning and buying all of the components. I didn't actually start the build until I had everything to complete the project. So as you can imagine the second month was alot of very late nights...... |

lol@ wmandra, a good project takes a while doesn't it
got the same case ordered, when it arrived i thought to myself: shit need the rest of the components fast to finish it (that was 2 months ago). ever since i got the case i have been painting... i hope to be presenting to you the pimpiest paintjob ever, if it isn't then god i've been waisting my time these past few months. so, sitrep, after 2 months, everything is cut out, rads 'n tubing are in the house, wb still needs a top and priming. just the top has been painted. maybe 10% of work done???

Nice job !!
I've been considering the YY or CK1100 case to build a dual cpu water cooled system with the rad, pump etc. mounted on the drive bay side. Mainly to get more heat out of the mb bay and allow for dual cooling loops if needed (I live in an area with high summertime ambient temps anf a/c isn't an option). Looks like it'd be a tighter in the YY than the CK1100 though. Since you're familiar with the YY case ..... does that type of setup seem feasible? Either way looks like I'll have to open up the lower half of the drive bay rack. byte_fx |

I have a YY cube (watercooled) and I'm moving to a MountainMods UFO2. If anyone is interested in buying my old YY cube after I've switched over, I'll be selling it at a reasonable price.
