Delete an inactive volume
I just received a used Snap Server 520. It comes up correctly but when I tried to create a raid set and Volume, I found that it already had Raid 5 set up. When I went to delete the Volume, I found that the Volume was marked "inactive" in red. I can rename the volume, but when I try to delete the volume, nothing happens, the volume remains. Appears to be a failed volume. The Raid set says it's ok.
Tried to delete the Raid set, it warns that I will loose the volume, of course, I continue but the deletion fails with "cannot find volume" Any suggestions on how to delete the volume and/or raid set? Thanks |

Re: Delete an inactive volume
I was able to fix it with the manual command "lvremove -f volgr0"
