Default following my first question

there is a guy at my job who use to work in refrigeration he is going to lend me a set of gauge and some silfrost(special lead for weld in fridge system) now my second question is about the condensor and evaporator what sort of of ratio should i base my system on ,what i mean by that is if there is a ratio for the volume of gaz in the condensor compare to the volume of gaz in the evaporator(1/2pound in the compressor for 1/4 pound in th evaporator) or is it more of a question of pressure (30psi comp for 150psi evap) and also wich gaz would you recommend me to use as here it seem i will have to get it filled cuz unless i am able to find somebody who is ready to sell me the rest of a 30pound bottle all i can buy is 30pound bottle no 1pound bottle around here (from my point of view since you do not need special card to buy this stuff around here they are not selling 1pound bottle to discourage people who are not qualified from buying the stuff) and also i know some people will say that i should ask the guy at my job to help me out but i already ask him but he does not seem interested in the project and since he is already lending some of is old stuff i do not whant to bug im with this
