Hints Please?

Hi guys! I've been reading about peltiers and TEC's for a long time and have always been very interested. However, I have to admit that I don't feel like I have the _best_ understanding of everything. Before I set up a TEC cooled system, I'd want to know everything I can about TEC's.

Are there any very comprehensive threads/articles out there on peltiers? I had hoped there might be a sticky in this forum...

Goes some way to explain what wattage is drawn from PSU and such.. if you can get your head around the software.
