15v Pelt on 24v PSU?
Hello,
Still have not purchased neither of them, but... Would a 15v pelt run off a 24V PSU losing the 9 volts or would it just be over-volted and burn? It's for buying either the Meanwell S-320-15 or 24 Thanks, Mario

It would be undervolted leading to lower performance but higher efficiency.
Have a look in your peltiers datasheet for the performance at 15v. Edit: Ignore this, I didn't read to post properly and in relation to that this post is utter nonsense. Last edited by Nugit; 09-02-2005 at 01:43 AM. |

Yeah, do what Bruce says.. Usualy TECs will handle high voltages at higher temps, but i guess high temps aren't what you're looing for. |
