The GM100
After talking to some people on the forums, I have decided to sell custom relay boxes. These boxes allow anything you can plug into a regular AC wall outlet to be switched on and off with your computer. They also include a switch to override the relay, allowing you to switch on the outlet, to prime your watercooling system for example. There is also a small bulb mounted on the face plate that indicates the outlet has power, since many pumps run silently. Examples of uses for this relay box: Watercooling pump External power supply for a peltier or other device 120VAC fans Lights Anything else you can think of that consumes less than 1200w. Advantages over PCI slot relays: (like the Criticool) No need to cut the pump or power supply cord, which voids the warranty Does not take up a PCI card slot Has an indicator light so you know the outlet has power The relay has been reviewed by Felinusz! Note that he paid full price for this relay, and recieved no benefits from me for writing the review. In fact, I'd never talked to him until he contacted me about a relay. Felinusz's independent review The relay box is rated for: 120volts AC, 10a through the outlet 12vDC on the molex. The price may drop though time, as more people buy these and I can get better deals on the parts. Also, if you choose to change an option, the price will change slightly. Opting for a standard outlet with no switch will save $5, and opting to forego the small bulb will save $3. Please specify length of molex cable and wall power cable when ordering. Price will be $35 shipped in the US, $40 shipped to Canada Please ask any questions, and contact me through this thread or PM to buy one. I am also open to some trades. If you want one, PM me!
