Default Thoughts on adding tec cooling to a WC loop

Thoughts on the idea of adding a weak tec pelt into a WC loop to help bring down the temps by a few more degrees? This is a schematic I came up with after some discussion with ben333. Right now, I'm debating between directly tec chilling the cpu/gpu or doing this. The benefit of this is that it would just cool the water a little and hopefully I won't have to worry about condensation etc. While if I go the direct cooling way, I'd have to get very powerful pelts (200w for the cpu and 300w for the gpu) and would then have to start worrying about things like condensation?

ps- there is an error in the pic ... the water should be going from the cpu -> gpu -> 120.2 radiator not to the rad before the gpu

Peltiers generate lots of heat. There is no way I would put one inside your case, in the setup in your drawing.

I built one up out of two 68 watt peltiers. You need a very efficient waterblock to transfer the cold to the water and to get rid of the heat generated.

I used three copper socket 478 heatsinks. I made a waterblock out of one which was very efficient and used the other two on the hot side of the two peltiers. It knocked 5 degrees centigrade off the water loop and about 2 degrees centrigrade off the inside case temp. I had two radiators mpunted internally. The chilled water first went into a 120 mm radiator with 120mm fan in two 51/4 inch drive bays. The radiator is mounted flat with the fan on top. In the bay above this was mounted a fan controller/temp monitor. It was hollow in the middle and allowed more clearance for the fan.

The outupt from the cpu went into a copper radiator mounted internally at the rear of the case with two 80mm fans suking the hot air to the outside at the rear of the case. The peltier heat exchanger was mounted on top of the case outside.

Two 90mm 3,800 rpm fans cooled the two hot copper heatsinks. I insulated bare spots between the hot and cold surfaces of the waterblock and hot copper heatsinks with foam rubber to prevent hot/cold leakage.

The while setup is portable but heavy. Just make sure there are no leaks in the setup.

I'm glad this was pleasure for you. Are you in with every vendor of bluetooth headsets or do you need assistance making a link?

Woah, I thought I did something silly for a second, heh. I deleted another post by the same member and did the 'delete all posts' option. Someone above me had posted a snippet about selling headsets and then in his signature had just the text "bluetooth headsets".
