I have a Snap Server 1100 with a dead drive. I gather from the forum that I need an img/bin file to set up a new disk, and that the 2200 image is optimal for me. I can't locate a file anywhere, and Overland says they don't keep it on their FTP site. Does anyone know where I can get one? TIA.

Find another working 1100 or 2200 and copy the first 30 meg of the HD. That is all the image file is. The procedure is in the wiki section of this site.

Thanks! You learn something every day. Now all I have to do is find another unit.
