What multiplier, what RAM settings, what temps, what voltages, and what else is in your system?
Suggestion - disconnect/remove/disable everything except your video card, floppy drive, and keyboard. Set your CPU multiplier to 8. Set your RAM timings to slowest (2.5,3,3,6,3,2T, etc.). Set your AGP to 1X. Disable Fast Writes, Byte Merge, USB, and any onboard extras (sound, RAID controllers, etc). Have a bootable floppy. Now starting at what you know it boots at (FSB wise) start raising the FSB by 5Mhz at a time, see if it boots. Even better, download MemTest86 and put it on the floppy. Let it run a pass of the standard tests before saying "ok, this FSB is good". Once you find the Max FSB, if it is still less than 133Mhz go into your BIOS at the highest it will run at and look at your voltages and temps. What are they? |

can't remember which line of the stepping it is, but at the end of one of the lines there is either a "B" or a "C" if it's B the chip is a 100mhz bus chip, if its a C the chip is a 133 bus chip....
but the B chip should run fine at 133 providing you lower the multiplier .5 I believe..... also is there a 100/133 jumper on that board?? |

yeah, it may have a 1/3 and 1/4 problem with a 100/133 jumper. just drop the multiplier too
