Wonder if you guys from USA know any car dealer that has an website so you can search for cars and check out prices? I'm into trying to find the price of an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, a station wagon that was built between 66-72. Over here in Sweden they are very rare. Thought of maybe buying one in the states and ship it over. //CJ

omg...
Thats classic...and a nice choice...with those windows in the roof and such. Don't mention dropping a beefed up 442 under the hood. You're best bet are sites like: http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/ There are some companies that specialize in selling classic cars, but I personally don't know these sites. Also check Ebay.com for the car. You're bound to pay a pretty penny for them as they are now rare over here since a lot were crushed.

I checked out the site, found four cars. Price was between 2000-3900$. Then I guess it cost 1000-2000$ to get a car shipped over to Sweden. And about 2000-7000$ to repair and get the car up to date.

oh...
http://www.hemmings.com Check there too, on US TV, they are advertised quite a bit on Car Shows such as a show called MyClassicCar Also might wanna do searches for forums that deal with GM cars of that era and check their classified sections and make friends with the locals...might be able to find you a good condtion Visa Cruiser so you'll just have to buy it, ship it, and drive it in style

www.wheelsforyou.com lol.. scratch that, they don't offer that model designation... good site to find a car tho, for anyone else who's interested. drop a 696 chevy mountain motor in that bad boy, 1000 hp of the bottle treatment, and go to the races! |

I usually just google. Enter the car model & year, adding "for sale" helps too.

You're right...a TT 442 will only put out 1000 or so HP...
Sure there is no replacement for displacement...I know this well...but a TT 442 gets better gas mileage...not that it matters...but its always something you can say in a conversation ![]() "If I don't put my foot in it...I can get 12 MPG..."

Anyone that knows of a shipping company that ship cars to non US adresses? Also, the -69 to -72 modells of Vista Cruiser are my favorites.
