Here's a few shots of my new Swiftech 6002-64 installed on a AMD Mobile Athlon 64 3200+. I'm getting the same temps as with the cascade (A64 top cracked :() but with 1C lower idle (not too confident on this yet). So far have been really impressed. I haven't hooked up any temperature sensors this time so depending on MBM, ahhhh! Temps are 40-42 load at 2400 MHz 1.65vcore.

I was planning on upgrading to a 2-342 but honestly I don't think it will do alot for me. My flow rate is very high, when I added the HydrX it was racing through the system immediately. Very impressed with Swiftech stuff. I really love my Cascade but I can't help but feel a little more comfortable with the 6002 in there.

Nice. That looks just like how my setup used to look. What are going/did you do with the cascade?

How does that soundmat work? Worth the money?

Well I only have an AMD top left, so I may sell it, dunno though. The soundmat definately helped some. The floor of a case causes alot of the system noise. It's usually an empty metal floor which will reflect noise easy. The spire stuff is cheaper than the Akasa stuff, not alot though. They are both under $15 though.

Thanks! I may try some of that stuff out. I hate noise.

Infinity, what rad and fan are you using?

chevette hc + top motor 86cfm fan. works pretty well. i had an aoc alum fan but it started making some vibration causing some bad noise, dunno why, maybe bad bearing. the top motor seems to pull more air at low setting. it does make more noise though.

updated pics with laing d4. temps are incredible with the d4. load is around 42-43 running at 2470 @ 1.75vcore. its about 7-8c hotter in my room than when original temps were posted.

the real question is.... how much louder is the d4?

Hmm. I didnĀ“t get it that the Swiftech WB was so flow sensitive. What pump did You use before the D4?

What motherboard are you using to overclock? and do you recommend the mobile a64 for better overclocks?

msv - was using the mcp600 before

black dante - its a msi k8n neo plat. the mobile are all cg core to my knowledge which is why i bought it. ive tried another cg desktop but it didnt overclock well at all so cg core doesnt mean much. i just got lucky. the mobiles dont have a heatspreader though which will help with cooling.

That's quite sweet WC setup, thumbs up for the work :D

Temps are kinda amazing too, definitively one of the better ones - with bigger rad they might be even better :D

trodas remember temps reported by on die or thermal probes are horribly inaccurate. they are ony relevant to your computer with the same mobo and same cpu....

things are really annoying that way.
