Default Snap Server Parts

Has anyone been able to find a good source for new parts for snap servers, ie power supplies and memory?

http://www.watt-power.co.uk/

sales@watt-power.co.uk

I think he will be able to put you in contact with someone fromt he US if needed

Model:
60 Watt World Wide - Two Wire Universal Input
PSA60W Mini Adapter Series

PSA60W-120 is the 12V model!

Then you need a little adapter to make the end bigger

Concerning Snap Servers which use an AC-Adpater (more specifically the 2200); has the size of the DC connector been determined?
Better yet, has anyone discovered a source for suitable repalcement AC-Adapters?

Thanks

Hi,

I just picked up two Snap 4000's on ebay. The seller had pulled the disks out and negelected to put the mounting brackets back in.

Does anyone know where to get the mounting brackets (sleds? I don't know the proper term!).

I could make something out of sheet metal, or possibly re-use a cage from a PC. Any good sources?

Thanks!

Not having access to a 2200, can someone tell me what the current & voltage outputs are for the AC-Adapter; and what size the DC connector is?

Thanks

The original is a 35W 12 Volt adapter

I got a 5 amp, 12V 60w adapter as a replacement.

I had to get a little adapter for the power plug to widen it, i will check when i get home what size it is!

Actually the original is Made by
E.P.S Inc
Model
F1670K
12vdc 3.5 amps (42 watts)

I did this once before, do a search for F1670 you should find it. It had the connecton size, and parity.

Thanks for the help.
I finally found the previous reference to this info buried in the 'hack a snap 1000' thread (17 pages into it).
