Default Celeron 2 600 (cc0) on Asus P3B-F

Using 512mb PC-100 memory at 3-3-3, I can get my C2 600 at 992 rock solid. I want that 18Mhz extra (112FSB). I can get it to boot and run great at 1010Mhz, but it wont post after that. I think my Promise ATA-66 card might be holding me back, but I'm not giving it up for a 18Mhz boost. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me keep both?

I'm a little unclear about what you are saying... It is rock solid at 992, but it can run great at 1010 mhz... Is it stable @ 1010? And are you sure it isn't the memory? Cas3 PC100 may be hitting its limit around there...

I've had the same memory with a p3 800 at 115 and 120 before. My AGP bus is what started giving me trouble at 120. I dont think the memory is a problem.

When it did boot at 1010, it took everything I threw at it. After I powered it down, it would not post.

I'm tempted to crank it up to 1.95v to see if that helps, but I'm a little nervous about trying it. It's peltier/pep66 cooled and runs about 28 to 32C under load at 992 so cooling isnt a concern
