CNC-programing
I’ve got my hands on a small CNC-mill, the problem is 2 things, one its old (the controlling computer has win 3.11)
Problem #1, the step motors are weak when I run the mill in steps above 0.01mm and they don’t want me to fiddle with it (Iv actually changed the settings so that the 0.01mm steps don’t slip) Problem #2, I don’t want to make the program my self, I think Ill have to right every possession, just to make it run slower. So my question, is there any good converters that can fix the code if I’ve got an SW file? Or any other type of 3D file.

I've done some testing in a bit of wood and some diffrent metals...
the only thing that I had was a neidel (1 mm tip) so there are no real cuting... The mill is rock solid, but the software is... well... OLD! (1991) and the servermotors are weak (i think)... (the one with the wire is just my atempt to unlock my multiple... Not working)

That isn't a mill it is an engraver. We used to have a few of those at stamp works. Replaced by newer Xenetech engraver.

Its going to be an mill to me :-/ thats the only CNC that I have unlimited acess to... so It has to work (going to have depth thats close to engraving) I need to do atleast 2 more prototypes before lunching my block (one will be for external testing dont know where yet), and that production is going to be in an fullscale mill...
