Hi artsite, and welcome to the forums,
and, thank you for the kind words, and
(just to clarify this one more time ) this design is completely #Rotor's invention, and all the thanx belong to him, generously sharing the idea with the rest of us

Now, making this block is the simple as making one can get. Several things to bear in mind:

Don't use 2 mm dia bits, it's not necessary to make the holes that small, and don't go too deep with the too thin drill bits, they'll snap easily and unexpectantly.
Guess that the choice goes to the number two or three of your drawings, if you're doing no. 3, pls do check that 85 mm long block can sit on the cpu socket without capacitors in the way (my cpu blocks are 80 mm long, and that's the limit).

It's easier to make the block in the 5 mm thick copper, the pits are shallower and you won't have too much trouble dremelling through 'em.

If you do nr.2, you may consider loosing the center inlet, and have only one inlet and one outlet (that's #Rotors original design).

Good to see more ppl doing these beauties, simple and effective!

Good luck, and post the pics of the blocks!!!

Cheers!

Tanks for answering

The die bits i go to 3mm and 6mm of deep, but i always liked having the inlet over the core, i think perhaps the the core will have beater temp......

I will try the second project and later the first project to compare the temp..........one in inlet in the center and another in the corner.

Later i will give news , and maybe another project in mind in this simple way to make blocks , simple to make with simple stiles........ and simple tools
