Default can it be done? pics inside

hi, i putting the final touches on my w/c setup BUT i've ran into a problem, i can fit the cooling stuff, but the plumbing in going to be in the way of everything, http://lukasz70.50megs.com/index.htm some picks of stripped case with most of my w/c stuff,

its a REALLY tight fit with the motherboard and HC, had to move the MB back maybe 3mm to make it fit,

the plumbing problem i have is hooking of the HC to the pump and block, the tubing will be in the way of the fan and i wont be able to make the fan shroud as good or at all

any suggestions?

PS, like the res? got the idea from the innovtek one, but 66us is to much to pay for it, this one cost me $6

one more thing,
is it worth craming it all into one case?

my other option is: if this doesnt work, im thinking of putting the w/c setup into an ibm aptiva mini tower, and putting the towers side by side,

Use copper tubing and solder it to a custom fit. Measure twice, cut once, and resolder for small adjustments.

the bigger the better!! it even has a little shelf on the case to stand on,
the res is the easy part to install, its the tubing for the HC, and i cant turn the HC the other way, cause then it will block my PCI, and AGP ports

i was trying to do the custom fittings and, i was trying out 90degree elbows, and then 45degree fittings. the real problem is the tubing i have, its doesn't like to bend,

im just wondering if craming it all in there will be bad for the performance of the w/c setup, i dont want to do all that work and still get a crappy temp.

any one else have any comments? good/bad, potential problems i may face with this setup?...

Use copper tubing to get the outlet and inlet in an area that is easily accessable to the hoses.

You may also want to consider a fan shroud.

I would get rid of the reserver and run a closed loop .... and i would slap that rad under the case with the fans either blowing out or sucking in

the rad actually wont fit under the case, its to thick,.
thats why i cut out tha big peice, and the rad slides in about 1cm,

i know, i want one, but the tubing from the HC will be in the way, the fan is suppose to be on top of the rad and it suck the air in.

It wont be in the way if you solder some copper tubing and route it to the sides as most shrouds are tapered.

thats probably what im going to do. i'll have to make a tapered shroud i was going to make something like this UnloadD made http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/sho...&threadid=5374 for the fan, but i guess thats no longer an option,

i'll keep everyone updated with this, im gonna put my computer parts in, and then the w/c to see how this will all fit

well here is an update, havent connected anything yet, i put everything in m tower to see how it would fit, and here is how it looks http://lukasz70.50megs.com/new_page_1.htm

wow!, i just checked my temps and they are about 43c 109f idle closed off with air (@1400mhz), in my temp case that i had everything in for the last month i had 48-50c idle with everything open, i guess case fans make a huge difference.

Ouch, what happened to the front of your case? That looks sick. I would definitely get a new case. They are cheap, and it will be more receptive to watercooling.

This is the case i was looking at recently: http://www.directron.com/ma01w.html

Best of luck....

lol!
the case came with only 1 80mm intake fan at the front, i cut out holes to make room for 2 80mm fans, but now i took them out, since i'll have a 120mm rad fan blowing air into the case.
