Default A call to arms!

I realize we're a community of slackers...but why are only 18 of us putting up points on DF?
We've probably got some of the fastest non-clustered PCs on the planet;
we're not saving our clock cycles for that 'someone special,' are we?...

If we don't get some people folding out there we are going to loose rank overtime Hell, I put up almost as many points in 24 hours as everybody besides Arcturius combined... we need people to start folding again....

Doing my damnedest!

It's like a bad horror movie: with Nightfall rushing closer, the geek turned away and ran as fast as possible. But there was no escaping.

I'll try and put another few PCs on the team. I don't like to run all my home PCs when it's hot though. We don't have AC

No A/C? *gasp* /me hugs his AC unit and praises the 66F setting

Is electricity more expensive in other parts of the world? My bill usually stays in the $95-125/month range, and that's with electric heat/AC/water heater and 3 Athlons on 24x7, and a Celeron and P4 part-time.
The TV may as well not have an ON/OFF switch, either...

And that's a good thing? My power bill last month was $21 and the month before $16. When I had all 5 comps on DF it was averaging $60 a month.

But anyway, I am still out. All my DF crunchers are no more. Not enough cash on hand to rebuild right now.

I threw my main rig into the mix for a bit. Can't run it 24/7 though.

:shrug: No idea; that's what it has always been, so I never thought much about it. Let's see...1000kWh/month...722.4hr/month...I'm drawing about 1.38kW on average...16A (RMS) continouous sounds a little off...
Did I mess up my calculations somewhere?
