Default MCE question...

I haven't played with MCE much, right now my HTPC is just WinXP Pro. I installed MCE once and it said that it would only play files located in "my videos" folder or some such nonsense. Is there a way to make it play files from another location (read: network share)? Thanks!

Yes you can add folder including network shares for it you to view you just need to tell it where the folders are located.

in MCE you just add folders for it to monitor, it will play anything in any folder. Just go into My Video's and in there, just tell it to add folders and point it somewhere

All my video sits on my server w/ over 1TB of disk in it, keeping it out of my living room and out of my HTPC. I use my local disk in my HTPC just for TV recording.
