Heatsink/ Heat Pipe / ThermoSiphon Cooling The cat will only make the mistake of putting its paw by your HSF once. :) Also the place to discuss the new high end heat pipe goodness. |

Optimal GPU temps?
OK, did a search, and didn't find what I was looking for. Basically I'm curious what are ideal temps for my GF3Ti200 GPU. It's OC'd, but not yet water cooled. Right now, with just the stock HSF it's running at ~51°C. Should the ideal range parallel the CPU ideal range? Or would it be allowable to run it a little hotter.

just like cpu temp, the lower the better. 51C does sound a little high though, maybe you should consider buying a dynatron 1U heatsink, great performance and it doesn't take up many pci slots
