CPU pelt + pelt waterchiller
I do know that applying the peltier to the CPU is the most efficient way of cooling it down.
My intention is to pelt the CPU on its own loop with something similar to what Cathar did with dual waterblocks and a peltier sandwhiched between them with the cold side on the CPU loop and the hot side attached to a loop with a 120.3 on it. Pelts would both be 226W or 172W, depending on what I can scrounge up atm. Why the chiller + pelt? Its been expounded upon several times that pelts work better with the hot side cooler, my intention of utilising chilled water to cool the pelt on the CPU and then a normal loop to cool the hot side of the chiller would in my tired mind atm seem reasonable. Anybody care to point out other more efficient methods short of building a chiller from an a/c or buying a Prommie/Vapo (Been there done that)? Anyone actually done something similar as well ? |

Nice.
But still looking if someone has tried that (what you linked) with an additional pelt on the CPU as well. |

I'm sure an extra pelt on the CPU would be fine, as long as chiller can transfer the extra heat of the pelt. Imagine 3 226watt pelts on that chiller and a car radiator

Here's some pelt action of my own... might give you some ideas?
