Eheim quick connects
I've been hanging out in French water cooling Forums, and came across this gem:
http://forum.presence-pc.com/overcle...jet-1575-1.htm Eheim actually makes quick disconnects, with built-in valves! http://www.eheim.com/technik_zubehoer.htm Now to find a supplier in the USA... |

With interrupted Googling, I found that Silverprop actually stocks them! (or at least lists them).
http://www.silverprop.com/sp/order.asp I'll still look for a US supplier, when I have some time, so anyone is welcome to beat me to it, ok? |

Ooh, nice one. I think I'll get the 12mm double tap from http://www.aquatics-direct.co.uk/pro...asp?ID=9&type=. I've been looking for something like this for a while but not found anything suitable. I'm using 1/2" tubing and 12mm is the closest to it - should be ok, right?

The taps I use in my PC-70 are the simple Eheim taps, not their quick disconnects.
But I did use the quick disconnects for one of my fishtanks to be able to disconnect the canister filter easily for cleaning. Be aware that they are 12mm OD - 10mm ID (for the 1/2" ones) and 10mm OD - 8mm ID (for the 3/8" ones). CD
